Workshops

Workshops are a great way to get to know your colleagues in a relaxed and creative setting. I am open to teaching these in the corporate setting, retirement homes, as well as classes at private residences. I have many of these workshops at shops and venues in the Baltimore/ DC / Pennsylvania area, but I can also bring my workshop to you!

Oyster Decoupage/ Shell Painting

   

✨Oyster/ Scallop Shell painting and decoupage- Create some spring theme items for your home decor in this easy to make craft!  Participants can use 3 shells to either paint or decoupage. The instructor will seal your favorite 2 shells with resin (the other shell will be sealed with mod podge.) 
Age- 13 and older/ under 16 should be accompanied by an adult
Duration: 90 minutes-2 hours 

Between the Panes

✨Between the Panes- paintings on glass. The painting is done on the inside of the frame, between the double pane of glass using fine line applicators. Participants can choose to paint a floral design (I will have lots of reference images), or a design of their choice. Participants can paint 2 of these frames. Julie will show you how to coat these in UV resin. (If you aren't comfortable using resin Julie is happy to do it for you).

Duration - 2 hours

Landscape Painting with Fineline Applicators

   
✨Textured Landscape- Paint your own landscape using fine line applicators (Julie's favorite tool). Discover a new way to add texture to your work and create 2 beautiful landscape paintings. (Size 5x5 and size 6x6). Painting 2 canvases will give you lots of opportunity to explore with the fineliners. (Brushes are also available if you would like to use both brushes and fine line applicators!)
Age- 13 and older/ under 16 should be accompanied by an adult
