Washington Spirit Launch Event on March 8 2026

What a great event it was yesterday at the Washington Spirit Launch of their 2026 season! I created 10 paintings for this event and being able to display them on a gallery wall at the Anthem was an exciting moment for me💕  I got to connect with so many friends and art supporters while I was there at the Anthem yesterday. This event featured local small business connections with small businesses- including a fashion show by local designer Roselane studio, and floral arrangements by Black Flower Market. My collaboration with the Spirit began with the Rise Up Paint kit that I created last year, which I got to sell at several games- where I got to know the fans and even some of the players when they came to Femme Fatale DC to paint them with me! Of course, when the opportunity came to showcase my DC paintings at their launch party I was excited to participate. The fan base is overwhelmingly supportive of visual art, with some fans going home with paintings, many leaving with prints, and even booked a commission! I had a custom jacket designed and painted by artist Rich Rocket (@vintagethrivals) featuring cherry blossoms, which I can't wait to wear at my upcoming shows and markets.
