Studio Happenings- January 2026

My studio has moved to Pennsylvania! Cam and I just moved to the Gettysburg area.  I am still making the trek to DC once or twice a week to Eastern Market or to retail locations, so we still get our Trader Joes! I love the woods, and I love the forests up here. So far, we have explored Strawberry Hill - there is a nature center there and it's beautiful. And we've begun to explore the Caledonia State Park- excited to get to know the mountains there. It was a beautiful fall up here. We are settling in- I now have my paint kits and earrings in a farm store called Hollabaughs, and I'm soon teaching a class at Strawberry Hill where we will have Strix the Owl out for the class and we will paint him. The class is followed by an evening hike. The class has sold out, and I'm very excited to meet the community of artists who will participate!

I'm also preparing for a show in April at Beachcraft Gallery in Olney MD. I'm preparing lots of new works, using my fineline applicators (my favorite tool). My goal is to finish 15 pieces for the upcoming show, so I'm painting a lot these days! 

I'm also excited to do a market or 2 in Phoenix AZ. I love Arizona, and I'm excited to make the drive out west, and stopping at some places along the way and investigating new retail opportunities. 

I have a million ideas that inspire me, and only so many hours in the day. Currently I've been working on making lots of fun little earrings, and swapping out inventory at all the shops, but soon I'll be working on some new paint kits, and even a paint kit subscription! Fun things are coming up in my world. Thanks for following along!
